«God has given me so much more than I could imagine and deserve» – Pablo Galiot, ordained priest by Cardinal Osoro

Pablo Galiot, ordenado sacerdote por el cardenal Osoro

Pablo, son of Manolo Galiot and Esther Caballero, members of the Regnum Christi of Madrid, was ordained a diocesan priest by Cardinal Osoro on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Almudena Cathedral. In these days following his ordination, full of emotion and encounters, he took a few minutes to speak with the communication office of Spain: “During these years I have been able to see that God is faithful and never abandons us. What He promises, He fulfills to the end,” he says. In this regard, Pablo shares that his ordination is a true gift, and that God “does not let Himself be outdone in generosity. Because He has given me so much more than I could imagine and than I could deserve.”

Pablo Galiot completed his secondary education and high school studies at the minor seminary of the Legionaries of Christ in Valencia, and later entered the seminary of the Archdiocese of Madrid.

Cardinal Osoro explained in his homily that after “experiencing the call of the Lord” and “after years of formation and discernment,” the eleven new priests have been called to proclaim the Gospel to all people and so that “with their lives, with their words, with their deeds,” people “may come to know Jesus Christ Our Lord and praise Him.”

He also emphasized that these new priests are “loved to love, always living from love and with the Lord’s love.” “Love for Jesus makes us identify with Him, conform ourselves to Him, act like Him, and love as He loves. This is what is also given to you today through the priestly ordination.”
