It was a week of service and dedication to the communities across the different territories where the Legion is present.
Faithful to the Legionary charism and identity, which in their Constitutions state that “The purpose of the Congregation is to give glory to God and seek that Christ reign in the lives of its members, in the hearts of men, and in society” (Constitutions, 2), and for this “they dedicate themselves generously and passionately to the salvation of souls in service and building up the Church, through prayer, the testimony of life, and apostolate” (Constitutions, 2-2), the Legionaries of Christ during Lent, and especially during Holy Week, carried out multiple activities of missionary, apostolic, and evangelizing service in the more than 21 countries where the Congregation is present.
The faithful from Italy, Germany, France, Spain, the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, among others, were accompanied by Legionaries of various nationalities in the different activities organized to help needy communities and in the religious services typical of Holy Week.
We share some of the experiences lived that demonstrate that service to God and the Church are manifestations of love, sacrifice, charity, dedication, and faith.
