On February 16th, the Dicastery for the Clergy held a Meeting with the Spiritual Directors of the Pontifical Colleges and Priestly Residences in Rome, to discuss the theme “The Jubilee: an opportunity to rekindle spiritual life”.
The reflection was led by Monsignor Armando Bucciol, Bishop Emeritus of Livramento de Nossa Senhora, new Spiritual Director of the Pontifical Brazilian Pius College.
Present were Cardinal Prefect Lazzaro You Heung sik, Secretary Monsignor Andrés Gabriel Ferrada Moreira, Deputy Undersecretary for the Office of Formation Monsignor Eamonn McLaughlin, and officials from the same Office.
After group discussions and feedback in the assembly, the Meeting concluded with a working session at the Domus Romana Sacerdotalis. Fathers Alexandre Nunes, Juan Gerardo Limón, and Carl Kuss, LLCC, participated on behalf of the Pontifical International College Mater Ecclesiae, founded in Rome in 1991, a priestly formation college that arose as a response to the directives given by Pope Saint John Paul II to collaborate with diocesan bishops worldwide in the preparation of future priests.
