The Pope Francis began his apostolic journey to Mexico where he will visit Mexico City, Ecatepec, Chiapas, Morelos, and Chihuahua from February 12 to 17. A group of seminarians Legionaries of Christ from the General Directorate, in Rome, went out to the street to bid farewell to the Pope, taking advantage of the Holy Father’s car passing by on its way to the airport.
Prior to his trip, the Pope released a video message in which he comments that he is traveling to Mexico to “experience the richness of his faith,” and to visit the Virgin of Guadalupe.
The Legionaries of Christ in Mexico, along with members of Regnum Christi, will closely follow the activities of the Holy Father.
