The Father Pedro Guzmán, L.C., was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, on July 30, 1980. He entered the Vocational Center of Guadalajara on July 6, 1992. He entered the Novitiate of Monterrey on September 15, 1996. He took his first religious vows on August 15, 1998. He studied classical humanities in Salamanca, Spain. He holds a degree in philosophy from the Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum. From August 2001 to July 2004, he carried out his apostolic practices as a novice assistant in Medellín, Colombia. He made his perpetual profession on October 3, 2004. On July 3, 2010, he received the diaconal ordination, and on December 24 of the same year, he was ordained a priest at the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, Rome. From August 2010 to August 2017, he was a novice instructor at the novitiate of the Venezuela Territory. He is currently a counselor of the Venezuela Territory, director of the Highlands College Quito, and superior of the apostolic community in Quito, Ecuador.
