The Full-Time Evangelizers in El Salvador celebrated their anniversary.
On July 14th, the 20th anniversary of the apostolate of the Full-Time Evangelizers in El Salvador was celebrated. A Eucharistic celebration was held, attended by 4 bishops: Mons. José Luis Escobar, Archbishop of San Salvador; Mons. Elias Bolaños, Bishop of Zacatecoluca; Mons. Elias Rauda, Bishop of San Vicente; and Mons. Constantino Barrera, Bishop of Sonsonate. Along with them, 30 diocesan priests and the PP. Juan Francisco González, Nicholas Sheehy, and Dennis Doren, LLCC concelebrated.
All the Full-Time Evangelizers who have served to date, totaling 61, working in 46 parishes and 7 dioceses, attended. During the homily, the 4 bishops expressed gratitude and highlighted the service provided by this apostolic program led by members of the Regnum Christi. They especially thanked the benefactors and the Evangelizers themselves for their work, dedication, and sacrifice in spreading the Gospel in their dioceses, parishes, and communities.
The couples who initiated the apostolate of the Evangelizers in El Salvador were Roberto Simán and Ana Bravo de Simán, along with Ubaldo and Pilar. Currently, the coordinator is Ramón Rodríguez, a member of the 2nd degree of Regnum Christi, and the trainers are Andrés Jiménez and his wife Alejandra, also a couple from the 2nd degree of the Movement.
