Young people from Monterrey were accompanied by consecrated women, a consecrated man, and a Legionary priest of Christ.

From May 31 to June 18, young people participating in the VALIA program, from Monterrey, carried out the «Haiti Mission 2015». VALIA has three institutional volunteer programs: Camp1, Brigade1, and Mission1. Mission1 involves doing humanitarian missions for extended periods, usually outside the country. In the summer of 2014, there was the «Africa Mission 2014» for a period of four weeks. This summer, there was the «Haiti Mission 2015» for a period of two weeks. The «Haiti Mission 2015» was carried out in coordination with «Youth and Missionary Family». Support was provided by three civil associations from Monterrey: Instituto Nuevo Amanecer, Andares, and Effeta. Six doctors from the mentioned associations participated, and the group was accompanied by Paola Mancera and Paola Treviño, consecrated women of Regnum Christi, as well as Alejandro Lara, a consecrated layperson of Regnum Christi, and Father Demetrio Navarrete, L.C.

During the first week, work was carried out at the House of the Missionaries of Charity in Les Cayes, Haiti. The volunteers attended to children with cerebral palsy, malnourished children, and adults with terminal illnesses. In the second week, the group moved to the House of the Missionaries of Charity in Yacmel. In this place, work was mainly with children, youth, and adults with intellectual disabilities. Volunteers also provided care for abandoned or malnourished children, as well as young people and adults with terminal illnesses.
