“Behold, I come to do your will” (Heb 10:9). In preparation for the 2016 priestly ordinations, a website has been created where you can read the vocational stories of most of the deacons who will be ordained priests on December 10th in Rome.
The ceremony can be watched live online, starting the broadcast at 10:00 a.m. Rome time (7:00 a.m. in Brazil, 4:00 a.m. in Colombia and Eastern United States, 3:00 a.m. in Mexico and Central United States).
There are also videos with testimonies from deacons and a photo gallery with images of the deacon ordinations celebrated throughout 2016 in various countries.
The site features a section dedicated to prayer for the future priests, which includes the prayer to the Most Holy Virgin Mary from Pastores Dabo Vobis, by Saint John Paul II.
On the page, several downloadable posters are offered with explanations of the parts of the ordination rite, the priest’s vestments, the basilica where they will be ordained, and other infographics.
