On November 25th, some legionaries from the training centers in Rome organized urban missions at the Chiesa dei Santi Vincenzo e Anastasio, near the Trevi Fountain, on the eve of the Solemnity of Christ the King.
“It was an experience of how simple and casual the announcement of the Kingdom of Christ can be. It’s something that can be just around the corner; you can find it in the squares and let it enter your heart,” commented Bernado Siller, LC, one of the participants in the urban mission.
Alejandro de la Garza, LC, said: “For me, the missions were an opportunity to show our love for the Pope, as he has often expressed that we must be a Church on the move. And for me, this is a way to concretize that invitation he constantly makes.”

These missions are part of the #StreetFaith initiative, which involves visiting certain points in the city, especially where there is a high flow of tourists, to invite them to visit a church, pray, sing, participate in the sacrament of reconciliation, among other spiritual activities.
