The 28th of October, during the closing mass of the synod of youth, Pope Francis, recalling the passage of the blind man Bartimaeus, mentioned that our prayer is not for Jesus “something annoying that hinders the way, but a vital question.”
Aware of the value that Christ gives to our prayer (cf. Jn 14:13) and that He is truly present where two or more people gather in His name (cf. Mt 18:20), the international communication office has proposed an initiative to entrust the fruits of the extraordinary General Chapter and the General Assemblies, as well as the renewal process of the Regnum Christi.
The campaign consists of adopting a delegate, praying during the eucharistic hours of November for the Prayer for the fruits of the renewal process, and asking in them for vocations that make up the Regnum Christi, as well as for the fruits of the renewal process.
In this way, and bearing in mind that different texts can be used according to the needs of each group, it is proposed to reflect on Mt 5:13-16 (Salt of the earth and light of the world) on November 1st, praying for the lay members of the Regnum Christi; on Lc 10:25-36 (The Good Samaritan) on November 8th, praying for the consecrated laity of the Regnum Christi; on Mt 28:1-8 (Resurrected Jesus appears to the women) on November 15th, entrusting the Consecrated of the Regnum Christi; and on Jn 13:1-15 (The washing of the feet) on November 22nd, praying for the Legionaries of Christ.
