Brother Anthony Freeman, L.C., was born in Houma, Louisiana, in 1988. He was a student at the vocations centers of Center Harbor (from 2002 to 2003) and Colfax (from 2003 to 2005).
He entered the Legion of Christ Novitiate in Cheshire in 2005 and made his first religious profession on September 2, 2007. He studied a year of humanities in Salamanca, Spain, and earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy in Thornwood, United States. He obtained his license in philosophy from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome.
During his apostolic internship period, he collaborated with vocational pastoral work in the United States and as an assistant for the fundraising tour in the same country. On August 10, 2013, he took his perpetual vows in the United States, and on February 26, 2017, he received the ministry of acolyte at the International Legionaries of Christ College in Rome, where he had been residing since 2013.
In 2015, he began his bachelor’s degree in theology at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum. He was to be ordained a deacon on July 7 in Houston, United States.
