Tell us about that moment that marked your path to priesthood. What made you think about becoming a priest?
When I was in my second semester of Telecommunications Engineering at university, I suddenly felt a void inside me. I knew I was not on the right path or the one that would lead me to my happiness. Nothing could fill that emptiness, neither friendships nor my hobbies. I simply experienced that I needed to stop, think, and above all, ask God for an answer.
Why the Legion and not another place?
When I decided to follow Christ, I didn’t know much about how to become a priest. So I left everything in the hands of my older brother, who is a priest today. He was the one who guided me towards the Legion. He met a Legionary priest, and after a conversation with him, he told me: “this is for you”.
Over the years, I have surely experienced difficult moments and others wonderful ones. Tell us about some of them.
Among the most difficult moments, I remember when I was studying philosophy. It was when everything about the founder came to light. Those were moments of confusion and disorientation among the Legionaries, but at the same time, this event has strengthened my dedication and love for the Legion.
What has helped you the most in your vocation?
Having the support of my family and the good relationship I have maintained with my formators.
A saint to imitate I love Father Pío.
In what area would you like to exercise your priestly ministry? In family pastoral work, especially with young families. And also in the area of education in schools.
What would you like to contribute as a priest to the Regnum Christi family?
I would love to serve the members of Regnum Christi through the formation of adolescents. That is what I am called to do.
