The P. Florencio Sánchez, L.C., was born on October 11, 1951, in Mexico City. He studied at the Cumbres Institute in that city. He joined Regnum Christi in July 1969 and consecrated his life to God on April 13, 1975. Shortly after, he joined the Legion of Christ, where he made his perpetual profession on October 8, 1981, in Rome. He was ordained a priest on August 20, 1983. He also studied Actuarial Science at Universidad Anáhuac México Norte.

He holds a degree in philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University. Since 1983, he has exercised his ministry in Madrid as director of the youth section of Regnum Christi (1983-1991), of the ladies’ section from 1991 to 2000, and then from 2015 to 2018 of the adult sections. He was superior of the apostolic house of Conde de la Cimera from 1983 to 2012. He has also been chaplain of the Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid from 2004 to 2010.

Currently, he is the director of the adult sections of Regnum Christi in Madrid and superior of the apostolic community of La Cota, in the same city.
