The Father Héctor Quintana, L.C., is originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, and was born on October 28, 1977. He entered the Legion of Christ in 1998, completing his first year of novitiate in Germany and his second year in Salamanca, Spain, where he studied the humanities. Once he finished his philosophy studies, he was assigned to Mexico to carry out his apostolic practices as an assistant in vocational promotion for adults from 2003 to 2007. After beginning his studies in Rome, he served as director of the youth section in Aguascalientes for two years. Once he completed his theology studies, he was ordained a priest on December 24, 2010. His first five years of priestly ministry were spent in the same city as director of the Aguascalientes and Zacatecas sections. In 2015, he arrived in Rome to study Spiritual Theology and in 2016, he was appointed assistant to the rector of theology, thus collaborating with the formation of legionaries for two years. He is currently the superior of the Hermosillo community, director of the ladies’ section in the same city, and local director of Regnum Christi in Sonora. In August 2019, he began serving as Territorial Counselor of the Monterrey Territory.
