The Father Shawn Aaron, L.C., was born on January 25, 1968, in Ridgcrest, California, United States. He entered the Legion of Christ Novitiate in Cheshire, Connecticut, on September 15, 1991. During his formation years, he collaborated in the general administration. He made his perpetual profession on November 26, 1999. He was ordained a priest on December 24, 2002. From 2002 to 2009 and from 2011 to 2017, he worked in fundraising in the North American territory and, also from 2007, served as chaplain of the Lumen Institute in Manhattan, a position he held until 2017. From 2009 to 2010, he was director of Southern Catholic College in Dawsonville, Georgia. From 2010 to 2013, he served as director of the North American fundraising office. Since 2011, he has collaborated as an advisor for the North American territory, and additionally, since 2017, he has been the territorial vicar.
