This August 5, 2020, in the Diocese of Cancún-Chetumal, Father Moisés de Santos Pérez, LC, passed away.
Father Moisés was born in Encarnación de Díaz, Jalisco, on March 30, 1946. He entered the Legion of Christ Novitiate in Salamanca (Spain) on September 15, 1965, where he remained until 1969, the year he returned to Mexico to complete his formation process.
He was ordained a priest in Rome, at the parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe, on January 3, 1981. Much of his ministry was carried out in Cancún, Chetumal, and Cozumel, Mexico, where he served as section director of Regnum Christi, parish Vicar, and Parish Priest at different locations.
Since October 2019, he resided in Cancún due to health issues, where he ultimately passed away on August 5, 2020. Rest in peace!
