Following the successful virtual pilgrimage last October, which was well received, the Magdala team invites you to participate in the 2nd virtual pilgrimage from the Holy Land, under the motto: “Pilgrims in Faith. Walking the Holy Land Hand in Hand with Abraham.”
From next Monday, February 15th until Easter Sunday, we invite you to join an hour of pilgrimage- catechesis on the Creed at different holy sites in the Holy Land. Following the format and schedule of the previous session, the Magdala team has prepared the following program:
Introductory talks: Monday and Tuesday, February 15 and 16.
Pilgrimage-catechesis: February 17 (Ash Wednesday) to March 27 (Saturday before Palm Sunday).
Holy Week: March 28 to April 4.
Concluding talks: April 6-7-8.
The daily pilgrimage-catechesis will take place at 9 am (CDMX time).
The Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 am.
The pilgrimage is free of charge, and registration can be done through the following link: https://bit.ly/2XUNqq1. Magdala gratefully acknowledges in advance those who wish to make spontaneous donations to cover the expenses of this activity.
The catechesis sessions, as well as the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, will be regularly led by Fr. Juan Solana, LC.
The logo for this new virtual pilgrimage was designed by Chilean artist María Jesús Ortíz de Fernández, co-author of Duc in Altum and of the gardens and mosaic of Magdala.
Interesting musical surprises will also be presented.
At the end of the retreat, a raffle will be held among participants with many surprises from the Holy Land.
Magdala is the homeland of Saint Mary Magdalene, facing the Sea of Galilee, in the heart of the places that witnessed the public ministry of Jesus Christ.
The event will be broadcast on Magdala’s social media channels (FB Magdala Spanish; YouTube Magdala Experience; Terra Sancta Mexico) and on Magdala’s official website: www.magdala.org.
A similar program in English will also be held concurrently.
In addition to Magdala’s official channels, the event will be shared by other television channels or social media platforms of various groups or associations that request it.
