To conclude the Third Virtual Pilgrimage “Walking through the Holy Land with Mary Magdalene,” two activities were held on October 31: at 9:00 am, local time in Mexico City, the Concluding Eucharistic Celebration was led by Mons. Adolfo Tito Yllana, Apostolic Nuncio to Israel and Palestine, concelebrated with Mons. Mauro Lalli, Chargé D’affaires of the Apostolic Nunciature in Jordan, with Father Juan María Solana, LC, and some of the Legionaries of Christ priests residing in the Holy Land. Subsequently, at 10:00 am in Mexico City, the Pilgrimage Closing Event took place with a raffle led by Father Juan María Solana, LC.
“The Christian is called to live according to the law of love: Love God above all, first and foremost, and love one’s neighbor as oneself with all one’s being. This is what the Lord taught in his life when he gave himself on the cross for the love of all humanity, showing the meaning of his teaching, that there is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
Father Juan María Solana, LC, delivered some final words of gratitude to the 95,340 virtual pilgrims from 149 countries who participated in the Virtual Healing Pilgrimage, dedicating time, effort, and offering their hearts to the Lord throughout the month. After the acknowledgments, Mons. Adolfo Tito Yllana, on behalf of the Holy Father and in his own name, gave the blessing to all the Virtual Pilgrims with these words:
“Today the virtual pilgrimage concludes, and now we begin the real pilgrimage: From Christ yesterday, today, and forever. From what he does, what he has said, what he taught with the grace of God, which, as always, the Holy Spirit accompanied. May He also accompany us in making each day the current pilgrimage of following Jesus Christ. The Lord be with you.”

The next pilgrimage was announced: The Fourth Virtual Pilgrimage “Walking through the Holy Land with Moses,” which will take place during Lent 2022; transmitted from Mount Sinai, where the commandments and God’s Covenant will be explained.
