God’s Plan is an initiative aimed at young people and adults with the purpose of helping to deepen a culture of listening and discernment within Regnum Christi and the Church. This initiative is carried out by Father Elías Sayegh, LC, and his team; in collaboration with Catholic Net from the Colombia-Venezuela Territory. “Hopefully, this culture of attentive listening to God will allow us to accompany people in finding their vocational fulfillment,” comments Father Elías.
This initiative is also a response to Pope Francis’s call to the Church to deepen the teaching of discernment. God´s Plan diversifies into:
1. God’sPlan Series
A free documentary series of 5 episodes, approximately 30 minutes each. Each episode explores the topic of discernment in general (not only vocational discernment). The series can be watched alone, with family, or in a team, as at the end of each episode, dynamics are offered that can be done alone or in groups. It is recommended to use the series for study circles, courses, or retreats for young people (over 16 years old) and adults. The launch event for God´s Plan Series was on November 25 via Father Luis Toro’s YouTube channel. The first episode has had 78,000 views on YouTube in the first 10 days since its publication, on Father Luis’s channel and on the God´s Plan channel.
2. God’s Plan Podcast
A weekly podcast discussing what God asks of us in different situations in our lives.
It can also be listened to on Spotify at this link.
3. God’s Plan Retreat
An in-person weekend retreat in which, through dynamics, talks, impactful activities, and moments of recreation, tools for discernment are introduced. The first retreat was held in Mérida (Venezuela) from November 12 to 14.
4. God’s Plan Books
Books on content and related novels about discernment that will be published in the coming months.
