At the end of last June, the first diaconal ordinations of some Legionaries of Christ took place in Mexico, France, Colombia, and Brazil. This is the first group of theology graduates for this year, beginning their first ministry.
We present a list of the first four diaconal ordinations of this year, mentioning the names of the new deacons. The priestly ordinations for 2025 in Rome are scheduled for May 3rd.

Diaconal ordination of Fr. Adrián Olvera, L.C.

Ordaining Bishop: Monsignor Pedro Pablo Elizondo, L.C., Bishop of Cancún-Chetumal
The ordination took place in the context of the 30th anniversary of Regnum Christi in the city. Father Adrián is originally from Veracruz and begins his apostolate in the youth section in San Pedro Garza García.

The parish of Boulogne-Billancourt is one of the parishes entrusted to the Legion of Christ in France. In addition to Fr. Jérôme’s family, who is French, some of the Legionary priests working pastorally in the city accompanied him. Fr. Jérôme begins his ministry as a formator in Cheshire.

Father Fernando Castro will continue his apostolic work in Italy, as an assistant to ECYD in Palermo and now also as a parish collaborator at the parish entrusted to the Legion of Christ by the local church. Meanwhile, Fr. Alfonso begins his ministry in the vocational pastoral of Italy.
