General Administrator
Fr. José Cárdenas, L.C.

The general administrator’s mission is to assist in the control of assets, auditing, treasury, and legal supervision of the works of the Legion, as well as the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
Fr. José Gerardo Cárdenas Jiménez, L.C., was born on July 1, 1957, in Monterrey, Mexico. He began his novitiate on September 15, 1974, in Orange, Connecticut, United States. He made his perpetual profession on December 22, 1982, and was ordained a priest on December 24, 1985, in Rome. In 1986, he collaborated in the founding of the Legion of Christ in Brazil. From 1987 to 1990, he served as the novice instructor at the Novitiate in Brazil. From 1991 to 2001, he served as assistant territorial director for South America. From 2002 to 2012, he was territorial director for Chile and Argentina. He also served as territorial administrator for Brazil.
He was elected as the general administrator of the Legionaries of Christ at the 2014 General Chapter and re-elected for that position at the 2020 General Chapter.
General Procurator
Fr. Javier Fayos, L.C

The General Procurator is responsible for managing the legal matters of the Congregation before the Holy See, according to the intentions and directives of the General Director and his Council.
Fr. Javier Fayos Febrer, L.C., was born on November 14, 1966, in Gandía, Valencia, Spain. After completing his preparatory studies, he entered the novitiate of the Legion of Christ in Salamanca, Spain, in 1984. He made his perpetual profession on March 10, 1990. He holds a licentiate in philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University. He completed his bachelor’s studies in theology in 1997 at the Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum. In 2020, he completed the Studium course offered by the Pontifical Urbaniana University on topics related to consecrated life and canon law. He was ordained a priest on December 24, 1997, by Mons. Claudio María Celli, at the Center for Studies in Rome. From 1997 to 1998, he worked in Saltillo as community manager, assistant to the adult sections of Regnum Christi, and chaplain of Colegio Cumbres.
From 1999 to 2009, he was the chaplain of the female student center in Wakefield, RI, while also serving as ordinary confessor at the formation center for consecrated women of Regnum Christi in Greenville, RI. In 2009, he became superior of the CA in Houston and chaplain of consecrated women, while collaborating in the adult sections of Regnum Christi. He also attended to the sections of Regnum Christi in San Antonio, TX, and at Rollings Hill school. In 2011, he was assigned as superior of the CA in Alpharetta, Atlanta, working also in the adult sections of Regnum Christi and as chaplain of consecrated women. In 2015, he was appointed superior of the CA in Manila, Philippines, while also serving as chaplain of consecrated women and the Mano Amiga program, and as an auxiliary in the Regnum Christi and ECYD female sections.
Since 2018, he has served as an auxiliary to the General Directorate in Rome for the area of priestly life, and since the summer of 2021, as General Procurator. He also serves as ordinary confessor to the community of brothers at the General Directorate.
General Secretary
Fr. Luis Alberto Henao, L.C.

The General Secretary is responsible for assisting the General Director in the management, documentation, and archiving of matters related to the Congregation, as well as in all tasks assigned to him.
Fr. Luis Alberto Henao, L.C., was born in Medellín, Colombia, in 1975. He entered the Legion of Christ in 1994 and was part of the founding of the novitiate in Colombia. He was ordained a priest on December 20, 2008, by Cardinal Angelo Sodano in Rome. He studied classical humanities in Spain and obtained a licentiate in Philosophy in Rome, where he also trained in theology. In the early years of his priestly ministry, he served as a formator: he was vice-rector of the vocational centers in Guadalajara and Mérida, rector of the Vocational Center in Chile, and assistant novice master in Colombia–Venezuela. Later, he took on various pastoral and administrative responsibilities, including local director of apostolate in Medellín, chaplain of the Mano Amiga School in Bello, rector of Colegio Cumbres in Bogotá, chaplain of the Metropolitan University of Caracas, and director of the ladies’ section in Lima. Additionally, he served as administrator and territorial secretary of the Colombia–Venezuela Territory, among other roles.
Since September 2023, Fr. Luis Alberto Henao has held the position of General Secretary of the Legionaries of Christ.
General Prefect of Studies
Fr. Devin Michael Roza, L.C.

The role of the General Prefect of Studies is to collaborate with the General Director and his Council in all matters related to the intellectual formation, updating of studies, and doctrinal integrity of the members and works of the Congregation.
Father Devin Michael Roza, L.C., was born on November 29, 1977, in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. He studied at Creighton Preparatory High School and completed one year of liberal arts at the University of Dallas. In 1997, he entered the novitiate of the Legion of Christ in Cheshire, Connecticut. He studied classical humanities in Salamanca, Spain, and earned a licentiate in philosophy from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome. He collaborated for four years in the formation of Legionaries as a professor of classical humanities in Cheshire.
He was ordained a priest by Cardinal Velasio de Paolis on December 12, 2011, at the Basilica of St. John Lateran in Rome. He obtained a licentiate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome. In 2015, he published the book Fulfilled in Christ: The Sacraments. A Guide to Symbols and Types in the Bible and Tradition. He is currently an invited professor at the Faculty of Theology at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum.
