The Universidad Finis Terrae is a higher education institution with a Catholic identity, established as a private, non-profit corporation. It is made up of a university community that, inspired by Christian values, seeks truth, goodness, and beauty to contribute to the transformation of society. It was founded in 1981, becoming the second private university to be established as such. In 1996, it achieved institutional autonomy.
