Novitiate of Monterrey
The novitiate, which marks the beginning of life in an institute, aims for novices to better understand the divine vocation as it exists within the institute itself, to experience its way of life, to conform their minds and hearts to its spirit, and to have their intention and suitability tested (Code of Canon Law, 646).

Apostolic School of Monterrey
The Church, through the establishment of minor seminaries, takes special care in discerning and accompanying these budding vocations that have sprouted in the hearts of young boys. The Vocational Center, therefore, aims to “assist in the human and Christian maturation towards the priesthood,” in an environment that is harmonious with their age and fosters true interior freedom (CLC 61).
