The General Governing Board of the Regnum Christi Federation has sent the official statement of the 2024 General Convention, which brought together one hundred fifteen (115) delegates plus five (5) guests from all territories and the four vocations that make up Regnum Christi.
The meeting took place in Rome from April 29 to May 4, 2024. Under the motto “Apostles on Mission,” the delegates completed an apostolic discernment of reality that first had a local phase and then a territorial one. In general terms, the following aspects are highlighted to foster a culture of evangelical and apostolic discernment. That is, “to seek and discover the seed of the Kingdom present in each situation to try to identify and act with the appropriate response for each person. We are called, personally and institutionally, to read the world from the heart of Christ and to overcome evil with good (Rom 12:21)”:
- Addresses the journey of evangelical and apostolic discernment of reality, thanks to the fruits of the previous stages.
- Presents and explains the three apostolic priorities for the next six years.
- Shares the five assignments, in addition to the recommendations made by the Convention to the General Governing Board.
- Confirms some certainties and convictions.
